Bruno Fernandes sends Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham warning about Erik ten Hag's Man Utd plan

Graham Potter, Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte have all been warned about Erik ten Hag's Manchester United plan by Bruno Fernandes.

It's not been a completely successful start at Old Trafford for the former Ajax boss. Surprising losses against Brighton and Brentford have been rectified since as the Red Devils went on a four-game winning streak in the league which included an impressive 3-1 victory at home to title hopefuls Arsenal and a victory against rivals Liverpool.

With new signings Lisandro Martinez and Antony starting to settle, coupled with security over Cristiano Ronaldo's future, it's no surprise that some are predicting that Ten Hag could propel this under-performing side to top four in his first season in charge. And with Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal facing a huge battle for the top four this season with Man City, Liverpool and the revived United, all will be wary of the rebuild going on under the guidance of the 52-year-old.

Bruno Fernandes has explained just what Ten Hag has done to try to change the fortunes of the club. He told The Athletic: "First of all, he has an idea, he has a style. You have to follow his rules. He is strict on that. And I like that. He has brought discipline, which is something I think we missed in the past. Everyone must be on the same page.

"That is what Pep [Guardiola] and [Jurgen] Klopp have been doing for years, because they have stability in the club and in the way they choose the transfer market and build the team, which is really important for them to get the rewards.

"I saw the manager say in a press conference that we do not want to bring players just for the sake of it, we want to bring the right players for what we want to do. It is something the club needs.

"We still have a margin to improve and he needs time to get the most out of us with his idea of playing. I believe we will get to the point with him where we are established as a team and everyone is on the same page."
