Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has praised manager Erik ten Hag for bringing 'stability and discipline' to the club following his arrival in the summer.
The Reds secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, with Marcus Rashford opening the scoring and setting up Anthony Martial for the second goal, before Fred added a third late on in the match.
Ten Hag's men were impressive against the newly promoted side, with Casemiro being awarded the man of the match award for his strong showing at the base of midfield. The Brazilian started at centre-back in the Carabao Cup win over Burnley last week, but moved further forward against Forest - alongside Fernandes and Christian Eriksen.

While Fernandes failed to register a goal or an assist against Steve Cooper's side, the Portuguese ace was once again in good form on Tuesday, and he was keen to laud his manager for changing the players' mindset this campaign.
"You enjoy it when you win games, if you are winning, everyone will be more happy," Fernandes told NBC Sports. "The strikers want to get their goals, their assists, those kind of things are always important for everyone.
"I think the main thing for us, because we've been in difficult moments with the changing of coaches, so we find now a coach that gave us stability, that was really important and something that was missing, and big disciple. That, for me, was something that was massive on our team that we need.
"I think in our team, we were missing a little bit of that and I think now everyone understands that you do whatever you have to do or you're out."
Fernandes added that he believes he is in the form of his United career, despite not racking up the exceptional numbers that he posted during his first 18 months at the club.
Fernandes added: "If we're talking statistics, my first year was amazing, but probably now I'm not getting the goals or assists, but probably I'm playing much better, or more involved than I was before.
"It's massively important for me that the team wins, because I think that that makes your week."
