Bruce Willis' wife shares heartbreaking video of star after dementia diagnosis

Bruce Willis' wife couldn't help but share a selection of sweet throwback posts of the star after he was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia.

Emma Heming took to Instagram on Wednesday to upload a number of memories, after not realising previously she was able to.

Adding to her Story, she wrote: "What's this new Memory thingy on IG!? Omg, my biggest fan. I'm in love with him."

The clip in question showed the Die Hard star, 67, saying he was "crazy" about his wife's skincare brand called Cocobaba.

It comes days after Emma announced she was working with dementia specialist Teepa Snow while Bruce continues to battle the disease.

She tagged the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration in a post and praised them for the help they have given her.

The 44-year-old wrote: "I’m grateful I had the opportunity to work with @teepasnows_pac who has helped me add to my dementia care toolbox.

"She’s a loving, compassionate and skilled leader in this space who navigates herself with pure empathy. She’s a gift. Head to the link in my bio as her website has a wealth of caregiving information you might find useful too #dementiaawareness #ftdawarness #EndFTD #EveryFTDStoryCounts."

Bruce's family announced his diagnosis last month in a number of emotional posts and statements, after first touching upon his condition a year ago.

A statement last posted on daughter Rumer's Instagram page read: "Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.

" In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing.

"Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD)."

She continued to explain the pain the family felt but admitted they were pleased to finally have a clear diagnosis.

It's said directors had been forced to reduce the star's roles on set as his condition worsened.

In White Elephant - one of the last films to star the Hollywood superstar - one crew member stated that the ‘arrangements’ which saw others allegedly having to feed the actor his lines, made the team come to the conclusion that they wouldn’t film another.

A crew member told the LA Times : "It was less of an annoyance and more like: 'How do we not make Bruce look bad?’

"Someone would give him a line and he didn't understand what it meant. He was just being puppeted."
