Bruce Willis has been filmed enjoying a nature stroll on Wednesday, a week after his family announced he would retire from acting over his aphasia diagnosis.

In a clip posted by his wife Emma Heming Willis, 43, with the Rolling Stones track, Honky Tonk Women, the acting legend, 67, was seen walking through a wooded area on a bright day.

The film star, known for his roles in the Die Hard franchise, was also pictured looking happy while sitting down in the woods, alongside the caption: “Mom & Dad in their favorite habitat.”

The actor wore an orange vest over a dark green top with jeans and boots in the photos.

Willis was seen smiling at his wife, who was wearing a dark jacket over a purple top with blue jeans and brown boots.

The action movie star shocked fans across the world when he announced he was quitting the profession after being diagnosed with aphasia.

The condition is a brain disorder which impacts the ability to speak, write and understand spoken and written language.

Bruce’s family, daughters Rumer, Scout, 30, Tallulah, 28, Mabel, 7, and Evelyn, 9, his wife and ex-wife Demi Moore, shared the news in a statement last Wednesday.

“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” said the statement.

“As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.

“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support.”

Tributes poured in for Willis’s acting career, including from Hollywood stars John Travolta, and Matthew Parry.

It comes amid reports that Willis’ wife Emma is doing all she can to help the actor following his shock aphasia diagnosis.

The model, 43, is “working with several medical professionals” to help the Hollywood star in his battle against the cognitive condition.

A source close to the couple told People that the diagnosis has “been hard for” Emma as “it’s not easy seeing a spouse decline”.

"Their girls are still so young too," the insider added in reference to the couple’s daughters. "Emma has to keep it together for them."

The source added: "He has an assistant at home to make sure that he is safe, but Emma takes care of him too.

“Because Bruce is older than Emma, they knew that his health might decline sooner than hers. Still, his diagnosis has been shocking for her.”
