The Harris campaign has unveiled a concert series featuring Bruce Springsteen in crucial battleground states as part of a strategic effort to mobilize voters in the final two weeks leading up to Election Day.
Named the 'When We Vote We Win' concert series, this initiative is set to be a significant get-out-the-vote campaign in pivotal states, according to a senior campaign official.
The series will kick off with Springsteen headlining concerts, the first of which will take place in Atlanta on Thursday, where former President Barack Obama will join Vice President Kamala Harris for the event.
Another concert featuring Springsteen is scheduled for Monday in Philadelphia, with Obama also slated to attend.
These concerts are planned to cover all seven battleground states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, with additional events expected to be announced soon.
Campaign advisers view these events as crucial opportunities to engage voters and ensure their active participation in the electoral process.
Springsteen recently voiced his support for Harris, praising her and her running mate for their inclusive vision for the country and their commitment to fostering economic growth that benefits all citizens.
He also criticized former President Donald Trump, suggesting that Trump lacks a deep understanding of what it means to be authentically American.
On a parallel front, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has launched an 'I Will Vote' campaign with a Taylor Swift theme aimed at energizing young voters in battleground states with a little over two weeks left until Election Day.
The DNC's campaign includes a Snapchat filter encouraging young voters to be bold on critical issues such as reproductive rights and the economy, while also educating them on how to cast their ballots in support of Vice President Harris this November.
Meanwhile, President Trump is scheduled to hold a large rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, adding to the escalating campaign activities as the election draws near.
