Bruce Springsteen in RDS: Concert times, getting to the venue and everything you need to know

Bruce Springsteen fans are getting ready for the rock n roll's first gig in Dublin.

He will be performing in the RDS Arena on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday to sold out crowds. The singer's last performance in Dublin took place in Croke Park back in 2016.

The RDS has provided up to date information about the series of concerts as they unfold. Each gig will start at 7pm but doors to the RDS Arena will open shortly after 5pm for fans wishing to arrive ahead of time.

The RDS is easily accessible by public transport .The DART serves Lansdowne Road and Sandymount Station, both of which are a five minute walk to the venue. There are also several Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland routes that directly service the RDS, including the 4, 7, 27x and the 18.

There may also be road closures in place due to the high volume of people attending the event. The Garda website will inform people of any traffic disruption ahead of each concert.

Concertgoers are reminded that they must remain in the RDS for the duration of the concert, as re-entry throughout the sold out event is not possible. Latecomers will be allowed to access the venue once they show a valid ticket.

Additionally, age restrictions apply for the concert as all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under 16 must have a seated ticket as they will not be permitted onto the pitch or standing area.

The official set list has not been announced yet but fans can likely expect to hear the legend perform nostalgic hits such as 'Born in the USA' and 'Dancing in the Dark.' Bruce will perform the entirety of the concert solo as no supporting act is scheduled.
