Bruce Springsteen in Dublin: No last-minute tickets will be released for The Boss, organisers confirm

There will be no last-minute tickets released for Bruce Springsteen as organisers confirm all three of his concerts are at "full capacity".

The Boss takes to the stage this Friday at 7pm at the RDS for the first of three shows. His second two shows will be held on Sunday and Tuesday.

And fans will be disappointed to learn that there won’t be any last-minute tickets being released.

Shane Mates, Event Controller for Aiken Promotions, said: "We are fully sold out for all three concerts, and we have been for quite some time so no last-minute tickets unfortunately."

Up to 38,000 fans will swarm the RDS stadium each night.

We previously revealed hundreds of die-hard Springsteen fans already started queuing to get into the pit on Monday – despite the stage not even being set up.

Peter Aiken, Head of Aiken Promotions, said: "The people outside wanting to queue, they’re coming earlier and earlier.

"We had hundreds of people here yesterday. We had to send them away.

"The official queue will start in a couple of days, but they want to be in the pit. They are the people that create the atmosphere.

"They were sitting and reminiscing. They all know each other and a lot of them are going for two nights, so we may have three queues."

Fans were queuing up in the hopes of securing a coveted wristband to the pit area near the stage, but the official system will not come into operation until closer to the concert dates.

"But it is part of the whole thing about Bruce, and they love it," Mr Aiken said at a press conference on Tuesday.

"I’ve never seen a happier queue in all my life. These wristbands are like gold dust," he added.
