Bruce Willis and wife Emma Hemming Willis celebrated their ivory wedding anniversary by remembering their 2019 vow renewal.
“On our 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said I do’ back in 2009,” Emma wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “I’m so happy we did.”
Video of the nuptials show Bruce in sandals while Emma is barefoot as they stood along the shore of the Turks and Caicos Islands where they first married.
On Sunday, the Willis family shared video of a birthday celebration for the 68-year-old “Die Hard” star, who is living with frontotemporal dementia. His loved ones announced that diagnosis in February. He previously suffered with the neurological condition aphasia.
“Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends,” Emma wrote Tuesday. “Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime. And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.”
According to Emma, the video was filmed by Bruce’s first wife, actress Demi Moore. They were married from 1987 to 2000.
Emma also thanked her stepchildren, Rumer and Scout Willis, for being their “wedding singers.”
The video shows the ladies singing and playing guitar, though the Coldplay song “Fix You” plays from beginning to end. Bruce and Emma’s daughters, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Willis, served as flower girls.
