Broxburn Athletic have announced the return of former club captain Nick Locke.
The midfielder played for the Albyn Park side from 2013-2020 before signing for Bo’ness United but will be back in a Brox shirt for next season. Locke played an integral role in the club’s famous 2019/20 Scottish Cup run and captained the side in their fourth round tie away at Premiership side St Mirren.
The Brox have also announced a string of pre-season friendlies. They start off on July 4 against Tranent before taking on Dundee North End (July 8), Gala Fairydean Rovers (July 11), Gartcairn (July 15) and Hearts B (July 18). All of those fixtures are at Albyn Park.
They’ll also be hosting a special Broxburn Athletic 75th Anniversary Cup which will see the Brox, Pollok, Dundee United B and Livingston B take part in a tournament at Albyn Park across July 22 and 23.
