Browns Twitter reacts to the reunion with running back Kareem Hunt

There is no replacement in the world for running back Nick Chubb. But the Cleveland Browns find themselves in the position to attempt to do the impossible after Chubb suffered a devastating and season-ending knee injury on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. And their first step toward filling that void on their roster was re-signing a familiar face in Kareem Hunt.

While Hunt made visits to the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, and Indianapolis Colts, he did not strike a deal with any of those running back needy teams. Instead, he signed a one-year deal worth up to $4 million to return to his old team and hometown in Cleveland. Jerome Ford will still be the starter, but Hunt gives the Browns proven depth behind their promising second-year back who will now be thrust into the starting role.
