General manager Andrew Berry has yet again created more cap flexibility with the restructuring of the contract of Joel Bitonio. The Cleveland Browns will need a significant amount of rollover cap for next season as they are set to be over next year’s cap by a large amount. After the restructure the team is adding $7.868 million to this year’s cap space.
In total, the Browns now sit at $22.685 million in available cap space and they likely will roll over most of that to 2024. But they also need to have some flexibility in case they suffer major injuries during the season and need to add someone significant for this year.
