Despite spraining his shoulder, straining his bicep, and suffering other cuts and bruises, Myles Garrett will ‘try to play’ for the Cleveland Browns as they travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons according to Cleveland dot com’s Mary Kay Cabot. Walking away with no serious injuries is one thing, but trying to play a live football game just six days later is another.
Garrett has lived and breathed Cleveland since he was drafted by the Browns in 2017, but there is no need to rush into anything before he is ready for this team. Regardless, this decision will likely come down to Garrett, and it is hard to envision he would want to take the week off.
But who knows? Maybe a little bit of rest and recovery is all he needs. Putting football aside, there is no greater news than he and his passenger walking away with no significant complications.
