Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Shelby Harris was injured during the second quarter of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Harris suffered a shin injury while he attempted to make a tackle.
Harris was able to walk off the field under his power, but he was clearly frustrated, throwing his helmet on the ground as he marched to the medical tent. He was able to walk to the locker room for future treatment ahead of halftime. He is questionable to return to the game.
The Browns rested the majority of their starters ahead of the game after the team clinched the fifth seed in the playoffs. The Browns wanted to avoid as much injury risk as possible ahead of their playoff run. Unfortunately, the Browns cannot escape their fate regarding Shelby Harris.
Harris is an integral piece in the Browns’ defensive tackle rotation. The Browns cannot afford to lose him ahead of the playoff run.
