Browns host former Chiefs starting OT for a workout

The Cleveland Browns hosted two players for a workout, and among them was former third round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs and offensive tackle Lucas Niang.

Listed at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, Niang started nine games for the Chiefs during the 2021 season with varied success. He served as the swing tackle in his last two seasons in Kansas City. He was drafted with the 96th overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft out of TCU, the same year the Browns took Jedrick Wills in the first round.

He won two championships with the Chiefs but was waived this offseason, signed back to the practice squad, but was released from Kansas City’s practice squad last week.

Niang was not the only player in Berea for a workout, however, as they also worked out offensive guard Zack Bailey. Bailey, 29, was an undrafted free agent in the 2019 NFL draft and has spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, and Washington Commanders.

Will either of these players land on the practice squad in Cleveland?
