Through the first 10 hours of the legal tampering period, the Minnesota Vikings have lost three players to free agency.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the third Vikings player to agree to terms elsewhere was inside linebacker Jordan Hicks, who agreed to a two-year contract worth $8 million.
The writing was on the wall for Hicks when the signing of Blake Cashman was announced earlier in the day on Monday. He played well for the Vikings in his two seasons, especially this past year where Hicks ranked 22 out of 82 linebackers according to Pro Football Focus.
The Vikings still need to add a linebacker in free agency or the draft as they only have four currently on the roster.
