Brooklyn mother who left home in happy mood made 1-second FaceTime call before chopped-up body parts found

The Brooklyn community is reeling after the gruesome discovery of Michelle Montgomery, a 39-year-old mother of four, whose dismembered remains were found inside a plastic bag in the trash compactor at the Borinquen Houses in Bushwick on Sunday morning.

Montgomery, a devoted mother and Amazon overnight worker, was last seen leaving her home on Saturday night in high spirits, according to her husband, Anthony Echevarria. "She left this house vibrant, happy and alive," he told reporters, describing a seemingly normal evening out.
