Brooklyn Beckham Unleashes Brutal 6-Page Rant, Revealing What Really Caused Family Feud

Brooklyn Beckham has dropped a blistering six-page Instagram statement about his long-running rift with parents David and Victoria Beckham, flat-out saying: “I do not want to reconcile with my family”.

Rumours of a feud within the famous family have been swirling for quite some time, with Brooklyn skipping out on various events and reportedly blocking his siblings and parents on Instagram. However, this is the first time he has confirmed the speculation.

In the statement, he says he felt he had “no choice” but to speak up and “tell the truth” about “some of the lies that have been printed”, accusing his parents of “continu[ing] to go to the press” about him and his wife Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn claims that “for my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family”, and says that has played out through “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships”. He adds that he has recently seen “with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade”.

He then dives back into the already very public drama around his and Nicola’s April 2022 Palm Beach wedding, which has basically been a tabloid subplot for years at this point. Brooklyn alleges that Victoria cancelled plans to make Nicola’s wedding dress “in the eleventh hour”, saying Nicola had been excited to wear her design before having to urgently find a new dress elsewhere.

He also claims his parents “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe” him into “signing away the rights to” his name before the Florida nuptials, and says “my holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since”. According to Brooklyn, things got so tense that his mum called him “evil” during wedding planning because he and Nicola chose to seat his Nanny Sandra and Nicola’s Naunni at their table, as they both didn’t have their husbands, while “both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours”.

Brooklyn then confirms previous reports that Victoria “hijacked” what was meant to be his and Nicola’s first dance in what he describes as a “deeply hurtful” moment. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me,” he wrote, adding: “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

He says that’s part of why he and Nicola renewed their vows in August 2025, to “create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment”.

While he doesn’t call out siblings Romeo, Cruz or Harper by name, Brooklyn claims in the statement that the Beckhams “value public promotion and endorsements above all else” and that “brand Beckham comes first”.

He wrote that “family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations”, and alleges that after years of showing up to fashion shows and events, the “one time” Nicola asked Victoria for help “to save displaced dogs during the LA fires”, she refused.

He also takes aim at the idea that Nicola is the one pulling the strings, calling the long-running narrative that his wife “controls” him “completely backward”.

“I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” he writes, saying he grew up with “overwhelming anxiety” that has disappeared “since stepping away from my family”.

The post lands after reports earlier this month that Brooklyn told David and Victoria to contact him only through lawyers as the feud escalated behind the scenes. At the time, a source claimed “the decision was made by Brooklyn after constant attempts to set boundaries had been ignored”, and said Nicola “will always support his decisions” and would back him “if one day Brooklyn wants to see his family”.

By the end of the statement, the tone softens, with Brooklyn saying: “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”

So far David and Victoria Beckham haven’t publicly responded to any of Brooklyn’s claims.
