Victoria Beckham may have a little longer to wait to become a grandmother after Brooklyn Beckham said he wants to focus on his career as a chef before starting a family.

Beckham married Nicola Peltz, 27, during a lavish ceremony at her father’s £76million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday.

While the 23-year-old has expressed his hopes of having children, it seems there is something he hopes to do first.

Now Beckham made the confession during an episode of his recently launched Cookin’ With Brooklyn show on social media.

In the clip, the eldest child of the Beckhams could been seen getting a pastry tutorial from experienced chef Nancy Silverton.

Speaking to the camera, he said: "I’m not much of a baker. It always comes across as so much fun, like you can do it with your kids. That’s why I want to learn to become a great baker before I have kids."

The budding chef married his billionaire heiress sweetheart over the weekend.

It was a star-studded affair with the guestlist including tennis star Serena Williams and Hollywood actress Eva Longoria.

Victoria’s Spice Girl bandmates Mel C and Mel B were also reportedly there while Snoop Dogg was believed to have been DJing.

Beckham’s brothers Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, were groomsmen while his 10-year-old sister Harper was a bridesmaid.

Peltz wore a stunning Valentino bridal gown at the ceremony.

According to reports, he will adopt the name “Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham”.
