Brooklyn Beckham left fans divided as he shared a video of him making a pizza. The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to show followers how he prepares a pizza from scratch.
Aspiring chef Brooklyn, 23, made the dough and added canned tomatoes, cheese and mushrooms in a simple guide to making his version of the classic Italian dish. But the newlywed received some criticism over his pizza, with one follower suggesting trying semolina flour to make the crust more 'crunchy.'
One follower blunty said that it looked 'terrible' and another complained that it looked 'undercooked.' While another follower said he should have put the sauce closer to the edge and another giorgio.ami joked: "My Italian grandma just died from this."

"Fresh pizza" declared Brooklyn about the video and his wife Nicola responded with a stream of love heart-eyes emojis. Majormoonn said: "This just made me so hungry for pizza." Wishing they could have a slice christyhopkins_art commented: "Drool." And amitchell3178 said: "You are an amazing chef."
patterns.12 applauded: "Perfection." And createfood2019 approved: "Love how you make pizza so easy simple and delicious, from Cairns." While others picked fault. scouserachel asked: "Is your base sauce seriously tinned tomatoes and raw garlic?!" weshinagram suggested: "When you roll out the pizza try to use semolina flour. The crust will be more crunchy."
Kjp3898 said: "Way too much crust on that dough with canned tomatoes on it." oxenhamart grumbled: "Would just like my sauce a little closer to the edge if I’m being really fussy." And yabiroman said: "Undercooked."
lomonddmacpherson observed: "Terrible looking pizza." And qurde wrote: "The poorest looking pizza in my life." However, debelhairbeauty defended: "I’m Italian and tinned tomatoes are the base of every pizza here! Italian recipes are way more simple and with less ingredients than you think."
And heatherholyland clapped back: "He’s cooking for everyone! Ingredients not expensive and that’s a plus surely. You’d likely moan if he used expensive ingredients. The lad can’t win."
Earlier this month Brooklyn caused confusion as he revealed what he likes to cook for his actress wife. Speaking to People magazine about Nicola's fondness for his cooking, and in particular angel hair pasta which she has served with 'pink sauce', Brooklyn says the Transformers star also loves classic spaghetti bolognese.
However, he left people baffled when he said it takes him EIGHT HOURS to make the dish for her. He said: "My favourite thing to cook a lot, she loves angel hair with pink sauce." He added: "But she also loves the spaghetti bolognese I make her, it takes like eight hours to make the sauce."
Brooklyn recently spoke to Variety about his hopes to open a pub in LA that serves 'healthy comfort food' and have a reality show with Nicola. He previously attended New York's Parson's School of Design to study photography and released the 2017 book What I See.
He said about his love of cooking: "I was still trying to find that one thing I would literally die for, and I found that with cooking.' Brooklyn, who regularly shares his recipes on his social media with fans, says he's almost 100 per cent self-taught and since the start of quarantine he's done it every day.
Brooklyn and Nicola married in April at her family's mansion in Florida. The first son of Manchester United legend David, and Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria, said 'I do' after the couple started dating in October 2019 and announced their engagement in July 2020. The stunning bride wore a floor-length custom-made white gown by Valentino for the oceanfront ceremony.
