Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz looked like they enjoyed a lavish Christmas in the US – away from David and Victoria.
The newlyweds chose to spend the festive season in America with the heiress' family while the Beckhams celebrated in the Cotswolds.
Much has been made of a reported feud between Nicola, 27, and her mother-in-law, 48, but the Transformers star seemed more concerned with her own family as she shared Christmas pics on Instagram.
In one snap, the actress stunned in a black off-the-shoulder dress – snogging Brooklyn, 23 – while in another she hugged her relative before the Peltzes dined for lunch.
A third pic showed an elegant Christmas garland wrapped around a staircase while a fourth featured a sumptuous strawberry gateau.
Nicola captioned the snaps: "Happy Christmas. Sending my love to you and your family."
Fans loved the glam pics, but one warned Nicola it was important to spend time with Brooklyn's family too.
They said: "It's nice you love your family but I do not see the Beckhams anywhere. Keep close to the Beckham family as well. Your husband... is being missed by his parents and siblings. Remember that."
Nicola reportedly refused to spend Christmas with her in-laws after reconciling with Victoria in Paris.
The fashion designer and David were said to have invited their son and his wife to spend the festive season with them and Brooklyn's siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
A source told Heat magazine David said: “Since you live with the Peltzes, it would be lovely if you came to us."
However, the parents-of-four were “sad to hear” the couple's response to their invitation – which was that it's apparently tradition for the first Christmas to be spent with the bride’s family – the insider told the magazine.
Victoria broke her silence on the reported feud in the Armchair Expert podcast.
When asked if she is "trying to give advice" to the newlyweds, she said: "We're so close to our children, I think it's all about communication.
"You're just trying to do the best that you can as a parent and support your kids.
"You want them to be happy, hard-working, good, kind human beings.
"But ultimately, you know, the kids have got to do what they're going to do. You've just got to be there to support them and love them."
Brooklyn has kept largely silent on the rumours regarding his wife and his mum, but did tell Variety magazine: "I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down.
"But everyone gets along, which is good."
