Brooklyn Beckham 'trolls own fans' with basic and 'experimental' gin and tonic

Brooklyn Beckham has prompted speculation that he could be "trolling" fans with his tutorials, after showcasing his recipe for making a gin and tonic in a new video.

The aspiring chef, 23 - who is the eldest child of David Beckham, 47, and Victoria Beckham, 48 - gave a tutorial on making cocktails for a recent feature with Bustle.

He stated in the video that he is "very experimental" and enjoys attempting to "make new drinks" and trying "new recipes" before adding: "I'm a nutter in the kitchen".

He proceeded to make a gin and tonic using the namesake ingredients and a few extras which included lime, cucumber, rosemary and mint in his recipe for the popular drink.

Brooklyn was also shown creating a lychee martini in the tutorial, with him using vodka and canned lychee for it. He topped the drink off by adding some lychee garnish.

Some viewers were left baffled by the tutorial, with one person writing: "Gin and tonic using gin and tonic. Amazing. Brilliant. Whoever would have thought of that?"

Another responded to the footage: "So he's made a gin and tonic, revolutionary." Whilst another said: "Wow this was groundbreaking never seems anyone do this before".

It prompted one viewer to speculate that Brooklyn may actually be "trolling us". They shared the suggestion on Twitter alongside a clip that showcased the recent tutorial.

"I still can't work out if Brooklyn Beckham is trolling us," they wrote alongside a TikTok clip of the tutorial.

They continued in the tweet: "Here he is being 'very experimental' and a 'nutter' making his signature cocktail which is a gin and tonic. He makes it with gin and also tonic."

"He has got to be pulling our legs," said one person in agreement with the sentiment. Sharing their thoughts, another said: "I think he's been trolling for years. Hilarious."

"Trolling us? I hadn't thought of that! Could be," said one person. Another suggested he may have a dry sense of humour, adding: "I think he's trolling us".
