Brooke Vincent joked that 'God loves a trier' as she shared her reality while showing off her glam new look. Earlier this month the former Coronation Street star was flooded with compliments when she revealed her new shorter locks.
Actress Brooke, who is known for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, was asked 'is that you?' as she showed off her new tresses following a trip to Manchester's Salon Fifty One before taking a mirror selfie to share with fans.
"This is not how I woke up. But it’s how I look now," Brooke captioned the snap, in which the 30-year-old was sporting a beige long-sleeved top with matching shorts. Her grey socks were also on show as the stared into the phone with her head on a slight angle to show off her side profile and her freshly chopped brunette locks.
And on Tuesday (March 14), Brooke got to show off her new look as she reunited with her former on-screen mum and sister. Brooke, Sally Dynevor and Helen Flanagan were among the guests at the Fighting to be Heard x Forever Unique charity event, hosted at celebrity hotspot Menagerie in Salford.
Fashion brand Forever Unique, owned by Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra, has teamed up with the Fighting to be Heard foundation for International Women's Day, in order to raise awareness for incurable secondary breast cancer.
Dressing up for the event, Brooke looked gorgeous in a sleek black blazer, paired with wide leg leopard print trousers which she teamed with a black bag and debuted her new shorter locks. But Brooke's attempt at a pre-event selfie didn't quite go to plan.
Taking to her Instagram Story as she took a posing video in a car park before heading home, the mum-of-two said: "I have a really bad habit of not taking nice pictures when I'm actually dressed. I remembered this as I was leaving to go home so I propped up the phone in the car park in a hole in the wall against a pip just for the memories."
She then shared another photo of her in a khaki green gym set, surrounded by piles of clothes, as she shared the reality of her normal life. "This was me 1.20 mins prior in the middle of my never ended 'putting away' washing pile!" Brooke typed alongside it. "It was a swift transition with the end result being I need to get a picture today in clothes other than gym wear!"
She added: "I hate washing like legit it's the worst thing in the world sorting and putting it away." But the mum-of-two, who is engaged to her footballer partner Kean Bryan, did attempt again to share a look at her look for her trip out.
"God loves a trier," the 30-year-old added along with a third picture she took in a lift. "The dirty lift mirror just sums up my photo-taking skills." And it wasn't long before she reshared Helen's post to her own Instagram Story, which showed the Bury-born star sporting a stunning strapless polka dot dress, from Forever Unique, which she donned with a pair of black stilettos.
"Point proven," Brooke penned as she tagged Helen alongside a love heart eyes emoji. "Fsake!!! Why am I like this," Brooke added alongside a crying laughing emoji.
