Brooke Henderson is one of the stand-out names at the top level of women's professional golf, but how much do you know about her life and career so far? If it's not much, then we've got you covered. Check out all these facts below...

1. Her full name is Brooke Mackenzie Henderson.

2. Henderson was born on 10 September, 1997, in Smiths Falls, Ontario.

3. She learned golf from an early age at the Rideau Lakes Golf and Country Club, with her parents - Dave and Darlene - both players themselves.

4. Seven years her senior, Brooke's sister Brittany also played golf to a high level at junior and college levels.

5. Her father Dave has been her coach throughout Brooke's career. Her sister Brittany - also a former pro - is her caddie.

6. A formidable amateur player in her teenage years, Henderson won the Canadian Women's Amateur in 2013 before finishing second at the 2014 US Women's Amateur.

7. While still an amateur, she finished T10 in the US Women's Open in 2014, at just 16-years-old.

8. She turned professional that same year, after being ranked the top female amateur golfer in the world.

9. As a result of her decision to go pro at such an early age, she turned down the opportunity to play college golf for the University of Florida.

10. Henderson earned participation on the Symetra Tour for 2015, where she won her first tournament as a professional at the Four Winds Invitational in June 2015.

11. Just a month later, Henderson finished T5 at the US Women's Open, a result which remains her highest in the Major to date.

12. Henderson earned immediate LPGA Tour membership after her first win on the Symetra Tour at the Cambia Portland Classic in 2015. This win made her the tour's third-youngest winner ever.

13. Henderson first won the Canadian Press female athlete of the year in 2015 at just 18-years-old. She has picked up the same accolade two more times, in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

14. The Canadian represented her country in the women's Olympic golf tournament at the RIo 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Henderson finished T7 in Brazil and T29 in Japan.

15. Henderson holds the record as the youngest-ever winner of the Women's PGA Championship, when she achieved the feat in 2016 at just 18-years-old.

16. The Canadian claimed her second Major victory at the 2022 Evian Championship after beginning her week with two sub-64 rounds - the first woman in LPGA history to do so.

17. Henderson almost went back-to-back at the Evian Championship but finished in a tie for second at the 2023 version behind winner, Céline Boutier.

18. She has 15 top-10 finishes in 46 Major championship appearances, including her two victories.

19. As of 2017, Henderson became a resident touring professional at Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club, Miromar Lakes, Florida.

20. Brooke picked up the 2019 Founders Award in November 2019, as voted for by her fellow golfers on the LPGA Tour, as someone "whose behaviour and deeds best exemplify the spirit, ideals, and values of the LPGA."

21. Henderson holds the record for the most victories of any Canadian golfer on major professional tours, claiming her 13th LPGA Tour win in January 2023.

22. Apart from 2020, she has won an event on the LPGA Tour every year since 2015.

23. Alongside her Canadian Press Female Athlete of the Year and LPGA Founders awards, Henderson has also won the 2015 Ontario Athlete of the Year, been named the 2017 Ottawa Person of the Year by The Athletic, and picked up the ESPY Award in 2019 for the Best Female Golfer, earning Canada's Sports Hall of Fame People's Choice Award in the same year.

24. Henderson has sat inside the top-20 female golfer's in the Women's World Golf Rankings since 2015, with her highest placing being fourth in 2020.

25. The two-time Major winner cites American country singer Reba McEntire as a huge inspiration for her.
