In his first four summer league games, Bronny James played poorly, shooting just 7-of-31 from the field and 0-of-15 from 3-point range. The buzzards were clearly flying over him, as various people voiced their doubts that he deserved to be in the NBA at all.
But the son of LeBron James has bounced back well in his last two games. He went 5-of-11 from the field on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks, and just one day later, he made half of his 10 shots, as well as a big 3-pointer down the stretch.
Not coincidentally, the Los Angeles Lakers won both of those games.
After Thursday’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the 19-year-old received a unique gift in the form of home decor with his own likeness on it.
This is incredible 👏👏

The younger James will have one more opportunity to show people, particularly those who doubt him, that he can definitely become a serviceable NBA player. That will come on Saturday when the Lakers play the Chicago Bulls.
