Mike Clay and Seth Walder of ESPN recently ranked all 32 rosters in the NFL and the Denver Broncos came in ranked 13th on the list.
Clay dubbed the offensive tackle position the team’s strongest unit with Garett Bolles and Mike McGlinchey set to team up in 2023. Clay graded the team’s outside linebacker room as the team’s weakest position given Randy Gregory’s injury history and Frank Clark’s modest production.
Walder dubbed quarterback Russell Wilson the team’s obvious X factor for 2023. If new coach Sean Payton can get the best out of Wilson, Denver should be able to compete for a playoff spot. If Wilson has another poor season, however, the Broncos will finish near the bottom of the division again.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers (No. 7), Broncos (No. 13) and Las Vegas Raiders (No. 21).
The Arizona Cardinals are ranked last (No. 32). To view the full list, visit ESPN (subscription required for link).
