Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, have been listening to offers and “providing tours to prospective buyers” for their mansion in Cherry Hills Village, according to Thomas Gounley of BusinessDen.com.
Wilson purchased the home for $25 million in 2022, setting a record for the most expensive residential property purchase in the Denver area. The four-bedroom, 12-bathroom home sits on a 5.34-acre lot and includes a pool and nine-car garage.
Wilson also owns a primary home in the San Diego area. That’s where he has lived during the offseason dating back to his time with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Broncos have insisted that Wilson staying with the team remains a possibility, but actions speak louder than words. Wilson listening to offers for his Colorado property seemingly confirms previous reports that the quarterback expects to be released by the team in March.
Wilson’s salary for the 2025 season will become guaranteed on March 17 if he’s still on the roster, so Denver will likely make a decision by that deadline. Speaking at the Super Bowl last week, Broncos coach Sean Payton said the team will make a decision on Wilson’s future “sooner than later.”
Wilson seems to think the decision has already been made.
