Goodbye Seattle, hello Denver.
Russell Wilson has officially listed his Seattle house for sale. He’s asking for $28 million.
The house was worth an estimated $6.7 million when Wilson bought it in 2015. That’s when he received a $31.7 million payout from the Seahawks after signing an extension, according to Over The Cap.
While Wilson’s asking for $28 million, Redfin estimated it was worth $16 million last month. But, as investors know, you never go broke taking a profit. How much Wilson nets from “flipping” his Seattle remains to be seen.
For now, the QB’s worried about building chemistry with his new teammates at his San Diego home. The list of players Wilson hosted this spring includes WR Courtland Sutton, WR Tim Patrick, WR KJ Hamler, WR Kendall Hinton, TE Albert Okwuegbunam, TE/FB Andrew Beck, QB Brett Rypien, QB Josh Johnson, C Lloyd Cushenberry, LT Garett Bolles, CB K’Waun Williams and Jerry Jeudy.
Don’t worry, Seattle; Wilson’s in good hands with Broncos Country.
