Coming off a heartbreaking 16-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) on Sunday, the Denver Broncos (5-5) are now ranked No. 16 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings from USA TODAY Sports.
That’s up three spots from the team’s No. 19 ranking last week. Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos following Week 10:
Keep an eye on rookie Audric Estime, whose 5.1 yards-per-carry average – remember, he ran a 4.7 40-yard dash at the scouting combine earlier this year – has apparently earned him the RB1 role moving forward.
After leading the backfield in snaps and carries on Sunday, Estime will be a top target on the fantasy football waiver wire this week.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Los Angeles Chargers (6-3) are ranked No. 13 and the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) are ranked No. 32 (dead last in the NFL).
The Atlanta Falcons (6-4), who will travel to Denver to face the Broncos in Week 11, are ranked No. 14.
