Brisbane had an injury scare at training on Friday when prop Corey Jensen sprained an ankle, but coach Kevin Walters is hopeful he will play the Warriors away in round 17.
The Broncos have a bye this week and meet the Warriors in Auckland on Saturday week.
The squad, minus their State of Origin stars, trained on Friday when centre Selwyn Cobbo was on hand after he had a short break in his home town of Cherbourg to recharge after missing Queensland selection with injury niggles.
Jensen, who has played all 14 NRL games this year, did not complete the session and was assisted by two staffers from the field.
"Corey has an ankle sprain but we expect him to be available, but we will see how it pulls up in the next couple of days," Walters told AAP.
"He has got a bit of time yet. If the game was this weekend obviously he would be a wipe but we have got the bye this weekend so that should help us big time."
Walters said Cobbo would play against the Warriors.
"If the game was on this weekend it might have been a bit different but he is just a bit banged up with his shoulder and a few other parts of his body," Walters said.
"With the rest this weekend he will be fine for next weekend. It is nice for him to be around family and friends (in Cherbourg) which he doesn't get the opportunity to do too often. It has been refreshing and self-healing for him, which has been good."
The Broncos have fullback Reece Walsh and lock Pat Carrigan in the Queensland squad and prop Payne Haas with NSW. The trio will play on Wednesday night in game two of the State of Origin series in Melbourne with Walsh likely to back up against the Warriors. The two forwards are not expected to play at this stage.
"We will see how the game goes," Walters said.
"We will certainly name Reece in the squad at this stage. We don't have to announce the squad until next week but I dare say Patty and Payne won't be playing."
The Broncos have lost their last three games to slip outside the top eight and will be looking for a performance like last year in New Zealand where they won 26-22 without their Origin players.
"We are confident," Walters said.
"We have always had good depth here and this year is no different so we expect to go over there and play well no matter who is playing.
"At the moment it is just a bit of discipline that we are lacking and that is easily fixed. We will come together well as a team when we start hanging onto the ball."
