Brisbane duo Thomas Flegler and Selwyn Cobbo have been selected in an Australian Prime Minister's XIII squad that boasts four Canterbury players.
The Bulldogs have been rewarded for their improvement under interim coach Mick Potter this year.
They boast the equal strongest representation of any club for the international clash against the Papua New Guinea PM's XIII at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, September 25.
Bulldogs winger Josh-Addo Carr, five-eighth Matt Burton, fullback Jake Averillo and prop Max King all made a squad of 20 players selected from the teams which missed the top eight and were knocked out in the first week of the NRL finals.
Addo-Carr returns to the representative arena after being left out of the NSW side that lost the State of Origin series 2-1 to Queensland.
He is still a chance to be selected in the World Cup squad in October and add to his two Tests in 2019.
Broncos prop Flegler has been named to start and has an opportunity to impress coach Mal Meninga and build on his representative career that at senior level is so far limited to one State of Origin game for Queensland in 2021 when he came off the bench and impressed in a 20-18 win.
Parramatta's Junior Paulo and Canberra's Josh Papali'i have elected to represent Samoa at the World Cup and with a raft of other top NRL props eligible for New Zealand, the door is ajar for Flegler to make a case in a position where the Kangaroos are skinny.
The 23-year-old is injury-free and wants to go to the World Cup and play under Meninga.
"It is definitely something that I want to do," Flegler told AAP.
"If not this year, we move onto next year, but it is great to get in this PM's side and I can't wait to get out there and get into camp.
"Mal being Mal and just who he is and what he stands for, it is going to be a great honour to be coached by him.
"Early on in the season it was best for me and the team to come off the bench but through Origin and after Origin I worked my way into the run-on side here at the Broncos.
"My body is all good and there is no surgery needed."
Cobbo, 20, has been rewarded for a stellar season where he became a regular try-scorer in first grade and played in a winning State of Origin series for Queensland.
He is versatile and can play in any of the outside back positions.
A winger for the Broncos, Cobbo has been selected at centre for the clash.
"It is great for Selwyn," Flegler said.
"He's had a breakout season and you just can't go past his talent. Hats off to him. He has handled every level."
