Bo Nix, the 24-year-old rookie quarterback who is set to lead the Denver Broncos into MetLife Stadium in Week 4 for a clash with the New York Jets… might have to make sure he doesn’t get starstruck ahead of the contest.
Nix is only making his fourth-career start against the Jets (2-1) on Sunday. New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will make the 228th of his career against the Broncos (1-2).
Rodgers, 40, has a Hall of Fame resume. Nix is well aware and admitted he grew up idolizing Rodgers and his football prowess.
“It’s pretty surreal,” Nix said. “It’s crazy that I get to go out there and play against him.”
Once the ball is kicked off, Nix and the Broncos will be all business. But you’ve got to admit–if you put yourself in Nix’s shoes–it will be a pretty cool day for him.
