Gehamat Shibasaki once took his NRL career for granted, but now the Broncos centre has vowed to never let go of the opportunity and form he has rediscovered.

It was fitting Shibasaki won the "Battle Medal" in the 20-12 Battle of Brisbane win over the Dolphins on Friday night. The 26-year-old's return to the NRL limelight has been the ultimate battle.
