Tom Flegler knows the jibes from his Brisbane teammates come with the territory after the prop's decision to leave for local rivals the Dolphins.
But the Broncos' battering ram maintains his mind hasn't wandered from Red Hill, particularly ahead of a potential banana-peel clash with Wests Tigers on Saturday.
The once-capped Queensland forward has found consistent form to coincide with Brisbane's 4-0 start and will become another weapon in the Redcliffe club's well-stocked pack from 2024.
"They're going alright, hey," Flegler said when asked for his thoughts on the Dolphins' 3-1 start - their unbeaten run ending at the hands of Brisbane last Friday.
"I'm more worried about what we're doing here this year at the moment."
Flegler will be joined by Brisbane centre Herbie Farnworth at the Wayne Bennett-coached club next season.
And their move has hardly been treated as an elephant in the room, with teammates happy to rib the pair before they depart.
"(There's been) a little bit here and there; I don't think that's going to stop," Flegler said of the banter.
"Hopefully (the Dolphins) go well but it's not really any of my concern at the moment."
More pressing is correcting Brisbane's record at home against the Tigers, who remain the only club without a victory this season but boast a four-game winning streak against the Broncos dating back to 2018.
"Anyone who plays NRL and treats the game like that is silly," Flegler said of any thoughts of complacency.
"They haven't won a game yet, they'll come out firing. The last four games against Tigers we've lost, by significant scores.
"We're ready for this weekend."
