Brockwell Park festival organisers submit planning application for first time after controversy

South London residents have been invited to have their say over how Brockwell Park is used for music festivals next year as part of a “new approach” which means events like Mighty Hoopla now need full planning permission.

Summer Events Ltd, the company which runs the Brockwell Live festival series which features events such as Mighty Hoopla, Cross the Tracks and Field Day, submitted its first ever planning application for its 2026 programme earlier this month.
