Broadcaster Mark Chapman has become a director of a National League club.

The BBC sports presenter has joined the board of Altrincham AFC, according to recently-filed documents with Companies House.

'Chappers' was born in Rochdale and grew up in Altrincham. He has presented the likes of Match of the Day 2, the Masters, Super Bowl and on 5 Live Sport.
