Reality TV star Brittany Cartwright has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Jax Taylor. Court documents filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday revealed that Cartwright, known for her role in 'The Valley,' cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The couple shares a 3-year-old son named Cruz.
In the filing, Cartwright requested that the judge waive spousal support for both her and Taylor, whose real name is Jason Cauchi. The news of their divorce comes after Cartwright announced their separation in February, following nearly 5 years of marriage.
During an episode of her podcast 'When Reality Hit,' Cartwright shared, 'Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.'
