A study has revealed how countries across Europe have adjusted the money they spend on food in light of the cost-of-living crisis – from grocery shopping to dining out.
The in-depth survey looked at the food-buying habits of 12,000 adults from the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Greece.
It revealed that nearly half (47 per cent) of respondents in Greece, and 40 per cent of those in France – both countries renowned for their culture of dining out – have cut back on eating in restaurants.
