A study has revealed how countries across Europe have adjusted the money they spend on food in light of the cost-of-living crisis – from grocery shopping to dining out.
The in-depth survey looked at the food-buying habits of 12,000 adults from the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Greece.
It revealed that nearly half (47 per cent) of respondents in Greece, and 40% of those in France – both countries renowned for their culture of dining out – have cut back on eating in restaurants.
