Brits spend 13 days a year planning holidays - with budget as most important task

Keen holidaymakers typically spend the equivalent of 13 days a year planning their trips away – with the average holiday to-do list consisting of 11 different tasks.

Some of the most important aspects of planning a holiday include organising travel insurance, sorting out currency, and arranging activities they want to do while away.

And three in five (59 per cent), of the 2,000 adults polled, agree budgeting is a “crucial” step – while the planning process also includes researching, booking, compiling lists, and even talking about their trip.
