Britney Spears 'told she was fat everyday' as she shares harrowing conservatorship video

Britney Spears has released a bombshell account of her conservatorship in a recording more than twenty minutes long.

The singer spoke of how the conservatorship- which saw dad Jamie and others handed control of her life- began, and how she was treated during the years.

Britney's conservatorship started in 2008 when the mum-of-two was 25, and ended in November 2021.

Since then the superstar has spoken out about alleged restrictions she was under, such as not being allowed to drink.

Yesterday, the singer dropped a 22 minute clip on YouTube, which has since been made private, where she goes into more details than ever about the ordeal, saying at the beginning: "I haven't shared even half of it."

She described being held down on a gurney as paparazzi and helicopters surrounded her house before she was taken for tests.

"None of it made sense. Literally the extent of my madness was playing chase with paparazzi, which is still to this day one of the most fun things I did about being famous," Britney said.

The singer claimed that a woman introduced the idea of the conservatorship to Jamie and her mum, Lynne, helped him make it happen.

"The main thing I do remember when it started was my dad's control. He loved to control everything I did.

"I remember the first day he said 'I am Britney Spears and I am controlling the shots' and I was like 'alright then'."

The Toxic singer recounts how she then returned to work, recording her album Circus.

She claimed she was told she was fat every day and had to go to the gym.

"They made me feel like I was nothing and I went along with it because I was scared. I didn't really do anything, I had a whole swab team, none of it made any sense."

The singer also reflected on her Vegas residency, and how she wasn't allowed to go out with the dancers in the evening or drink with them.

She admitted her performances were "horrible" but "I didn't give a f**k anymore, I couldn't go where I wanted to go."

In the past, Britney's dad has said he loves his daughter "unconditionally" and "tried to do what is in her best interests".

After Britney's testimony in court, where she called for the end of conservatorship, Jamie's lawyer denied he was responsible for the restrictions placed on her private life.

"Through the conservatorship, Britney has been able to return to a path towards stability in all of these phases of her life," his lawyer said last November.

"The mission has been successful and it is now time for Britney to re-take control of her life."
