Britney Spears' youngest son Jayden has had his say on the pop superstar's frequent posting of semi-nude Instagram images.
The 15-year-old, who lives with his father - Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline - said he understood why the Toxic singer feels the need to share such pictures, but at the same pointed out it was one of the factors that was coming between the pair.
Since the end of her 13-year conservatorship in November last year, Britney, 40, has posted countless images in which she appears in various states of undress.
Discussing his mum's social media activity, Jayden told the Sun : "Social media helps her. So if that’s what she wants to do. I'm not going to hate her for that.
"At the same time, she should come to the realisation of whatever it is that stops her loving her family. It's almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention.
"This has gone on for years and years and years and there's a high chance that this will never stop but I'm hoping for me that she will stop."
In an ITV News interview that will air on Friday, meanwhile, Jayden will defend his grandfather, Jamie, who was the conservator of Britney's estate.
Just four months ago, however, Jayden labelled the 70-year old a 'd**k' in response to questions by fans on social media.
Seemingly in a change of heart, the teenager will tell the broadcaster: "I know everybody blames him for the conservatorship. It was a father caring for his daughter. Maybe the conservatorship took a little too long. That is why people developed a hatred for him.
"That is why my mum was angry that she was working too hard. She should have taken a break. But he doesn’t deserve all the hatred he is getting in the media.
"Mom is ceasing to realise how much he cares about her. I love him with all my heart. He was just trying to be a father."
It's understood, meanwhile, that Federline brought a restraining order against his former father-in-law in 2019 following claims of a dispute with one of his sons.
It's been reported, however, that the order is set to expire imminently, with Federline declaring that he "can't wait" and adding he is willing to welcome Jamie back into his teenage sons' lives.
