Britney Spears has said 'I'm not dead' after Millie Bobby Brown said she wants to play her in a biopic about her life.
It seems that Britney didn't appreciate Millie's suggestion as she responded in an Instagram post.
The Stranger Things actor, 18, appeared on The Drew Barrymore show on Monday (7 November), where she said that she wants to play the singer.
Millie said that she thinks Spears’ story 'resonates with me', saying: "Growing up in the public eye, watching her videos, watching interviews of her when she was young."
She added: "I mean, same thing with you, I see the scramble for words. And I don’t know her, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way – and hers only."
However, Britney approached the situation in a now edited Instagram post.
She wrote: "I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead !!!"
The mum-of-two then went on to mention her parents as well as the conservatorship she was under for 12 years until 2021.
She wrote: "Good news, good news !!! Still breathing … it’s funny the same two people who gave me life are the same exact 2 people who took it away … but guess what !!!
"I’m alive and I’m breathing again !!! Yeah I know I’ve posted too much this week on Instagram … kinda fun though !!! Now that I’m breathing … I have time … it’s different !!! I like it !!! I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead !!! Although it’s pretty f****** clear they preferred me dead …
"I guess my family is going to lock their doors now !!! Either way … I just want to say hi and share these fabulous doors !!! I did kinda post too much this week … I’m embarrassed !!! I get it … oh well !!! Have a good day."
The post comes after Britney revealed she has incurable nerve damage.
The 40-year-old said it affects the right side of her body which makes it hard to sleep.
She said she's been experiencing pain and numbness but fortunately she's found dancing helps alleviate some of her symptoms.
Britney said she has 'pins and needles 'on the 'right side of her body' around three times a week.
Fortunately the pop princess has found that dancing has helps like medication her and says she's 'got a lot better' in recent times.
