Britney Spears broke her short Instagram hiatus on Thursday night to respond to son Jayden's recent interviews.
Jayden, 15, has opened up in a number of interviews this week and spoke about potentially building bridges in their relationship, while also criticising his mum for her near-naked social media posts.
However, the songstress, 40 has stood firm on her actions and despite saying she's "saddened" by her son's comments, she's took aim at his dad Kevin Federline for his role in organising the latest media chats.
Britney posted a lengthy response in which she told her sons she sends them "all the love in the world" every day. However, she couldn't avoid questioning Jayden's words and asked him to meet with her to explain his thoughts on the suffering she put up with during her 13-year conservatorship.
The Toxic singer began: "I've tried my best at being the best person I can be... to be basically held hostage in homes under nurses and bulls*** I hope my kids one day understand my reasoning of my play in water revealing myself as any woman would being held under blankets and supervision under the conservatorship!!!"
She continued: "Finally at 40 without the restraints of what my family did to me ... I say to my son Jayden that I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life!!! My love for my children has no boundaries and it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn't up to his expectations of a mother."
The star admitted she hopes she can discuss his thoughts honestly in a face to face meeting one day before hitting out at ex Kevin - saying she had looked after him for the last 15 years.
Britney claimed that her kids might say they prefer their dad's parenting skills as his "smoking weed every day benefits your daily life at 15 and 16 to partake in a VERY COOL GENERATION".
And after saying all of her work commitments were there to help her kids she added: "It's horrible to see your dad be a hypocrite and say the media is horrible yet he has you talking about my personal mater to them!!!
"If you could pause for a second remember where you came from !!! I hope you can like in the mirror and remember ... you are my child and always will be!!!"
Britney also touched upon Jayden's comments about her mental health after he said the pair can meet up "when she gets better."
She told the teen to "pick up a book and read one" before discussing how she is and told him to tell his dad to "at least mow the lawn". It was this comment which led to new hubby Sam Asghari popping up in the comments section to say: "Mowing the lawn> professional baby daddy."
And pop superstar Britney concluded her post by saying that if her kids believe their "memaw and paw paw" acted correctly throughout her conservatorship, then she accepts she has failed as a mother.
