Britney Spears hit out at her parents by sharing a note she had written from her childhood.
The singer, 40, had discovered a questionnaire she had filled out when she was a youngster.
The sheet of paper asked "who is your hero?" and in response, a young Britney had written: "Dad".
The second question was: "Why do you consider this person to be your hero?" and her answer was "He is brave".
Then the third asked: "Is there anything your hero is frightened of?" and Britney had simply put: "Mom".
A furious Britney, who has been enjoying her freedom on social media, wrote: "This is the day I realized my mom should have scared (screaming emoji) my dad in life !!!!!"
She added: "Or possibly just attempted to care !!! Pss I’ve learned to be like her … I DON’T KNOW (shrugging emojis) that way YOUR SWEET….. DADDY’S NEVER SCARED, RIGHT MA ????"
"Psss when moms play their daughters lol (rose emojis). … Geez my whole life … if you look up you can see a CHILD WROTE THIS … ONLY THE CHILD KNOWS !!!! Pssssssss and what the child said is the way it should be !!!!"
Britney's conservatorship, where her dad controlled her finances and career, ended in 2021.
For almost 14 years she had the rights to make basic decisions about her own life stripped from her and placed in Jamie's hands.
Baby One More Time hit maker is preparing to reveal personal details about her career, family and life in general in a $15million book deal, according to Page Six.
Insiders revealed to Us Weekly that the singer plans on "holding nothing back" in her new book.
She teased her tell-all book on her Instagram with a photo of a typewriter with roses on a table.
Britney added the caption: "Shall I start from THE BEGINNING?"
Her sister Jamie Lynn Spears also released a book about her childhood and finding fame.
In her book she one wrote how Britney locked them both in a room and held a knife.
Jamie described her older sister as "erratic, paranoid and spiralling".
But Britney categorically denied the story and branded her sister a "scum person".
She also took to social media and expressed her regret for not "slappping" Jamie and their mum "right across your f****** faces!!!!"
The feud sparked a legal battle between the pair, and Britney's counsel sent Jamie Lynn a cease and desist over the book.
Jamie Lynn's book came out just months after Britney's conservatorship.
The Mirror has approached Britney Spears' representatives for comment.
