Britney Spears fans beg FBI to help find her due to 'red flag' Instagram posts

Britney Spears fans have pleaded with the FBI to find her amid concerns over her social media.

Fans of the singer, 40, have been left worried after they said she had posted a string of 'red flags' on her Instagram. They believe the posts to be cryptic.

On Thursday August 5, Britney posted a photo of a red square without a caption which is the second post she has done so in the past week, the Mirror reports. After doing it twice, fans took to the comments to express their concerns.

One wrote: "Are you ok?" as another said: "Give us a new clue please." A third person commented: "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!!!"

Another put: "Can we do a wellness check on this poor woman?! I feel so HELPLESS, and I can’t imagine how she must feel!"

As a fifth wrote: "I’m worried."

Britney hasn't addressed the bizarre post or explained why she's decided to share it twice. This comes after it was claimed that Britney's tell-all memoir is being delayed due to a paper shortage.

The star has reportedly finished her long-anticipated book that is due to spill secrets on the years she was under a conservatorship and her toxic family feud. However, fans could be left waiting longer as the paper shortage is thought to have delayed the release date.

Since Britney's conservatorship ended in November she has been living her life to the full by getting married to long-term partner Sam Ashgari, plotting a comeback and now finishing her book. Sources told TMZ the Sometimes singer and her team were hoping to release the book, set to be published by Simon & Schuster, in January but a paper shortage has ruined the plan.

Britney has moved mansions after tying the knot with personal trainer Sam Asghari back in June. The ceremony was a private affair and invitees included famous faces including Paris Hilton, Madonna and Donatella Versace herself, who is a personal friend of the couple.

“The happiest day seeing @britneyspears marry @samasghari. Seeing them both in Versace for their special day makes me so proud,” Versace wrote on social media following the wedding.

The wedding day was somewhat blighted by Spear’s former husband Jason Alexander, who arrived unannounced at the property with the intention of “crashing” the event.
