Britney Spears breaks silence after 'manic meltdown' inside restaurant with husband Sam

Britney Spears has broken her silence after she was seen "speaking gibberish" and acting "manic" in a recording taken at a restaurant.

The pop star took to her Instagram page to upload her latest video just one day after she was seen 'acting erratically' while out to dinner with husband Sam Asghari.

In the clip - which she posted with comments turned off - Britney, 41, is seen wearing a white and yellow bandeau mini dress and white knee-high boots as she danced for the camera, spinning and dancing

She wore her long blonde hair down in tousled waves for the clip, as she poked out her tongue and made a series of faces as well as flipping the bird at the camera.

Britney was also seen applying powder to her face in the clip to the soundtrack of retro Divinyls hit I Touch Myself.

She also added a meme to her page reading “they told me I couldn’t that’s why I did.”

Britney was reportedly seen “talking gibberish” at Los Angeles hotspot JOEY on Friday night with her actor husband allegedly “storming out" on her following the apparent disagreement.

Footage from the event saw Britney hiding her face with a menu when she realised she was being filmed by fellow diners as she sat alone at a table.

Britney also appeared to be talking to herself in the clip before leaving with her bodyguard.

Fans have been concerned for Britney's well-being after a string of bizarre posts on her social media accounts in recent months.

Sam, 28, meanwhile recently denied allegations from her followers that he was "controlling" his wife.

He admitted he understands why her "good fans" have made assumptions about his role in Britney's life.

Followers of the pop princess have been growing ever more concerned for her well-being with the hashtag #WhereIsBritney being used to air their concerns for her safety.

But Sam denied his involvement in any negative capacity after being questioned on the subject by TMZ who queried whether or not he was "controlling Britney."

He said: “No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner. You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from. They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans.”

Despite Sam's reassurance that all is well with Britney, 41, many of her fans have created several theories surrounding what is going on with their idol, who has posted a string of naked pictures and incoherent captions in recent months.

Sam also took to Instagram to share a message about the "traumatising" effects of social media during Britney's recent break from the platform.

He wrote: “Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times. Thank you to all of her protective fans.”
