Britney Spears' sons Sean and Jayden Federline are reportedly set to speak out about their troubled relationship with their mother in a TV interview.
The Toxic singer's sons father Kevin Federline claimed in an interview with ITV News earlier this month that teens Sean and Jayden hadn't seen their mother in months.
Following 44-year-old Kevin's explosive revelations, 40-year-old singer Britney hit back and shared her hurt.
As the two sides publicly went back and fourth, 16-year-old Sean and Jayden, 15, remained silent on the matter.
Now the teens are reportedly due to speak out about their difficult relationship, according to Mail Online, with their pop superstar mum.
In the interview, which is set to air on ITV News on Friday, Jayden will admit "it will take a lot of time and effort" for the sons to repair the relationship with their mum.
Jayden says: "I 100% think this can be fixed. It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again."
The teen also addresses his mum directly as he tells Britney: "I love you a lot and I hope for the best for you.
"Maybe one day we can sit down . . . and talk again and have a normal conversation."
ITV have been contacted by the Mirror for comment.
The public feud was sparked after Sean and Jayden's dad Kevin claimed they hadn't seen their mother in months in an interview earlier this month.
"The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now. It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding," Kevin revealed in the bombshell ITV interview.
Elsewhere in the chat, which was reportedly not aired in full as it was 'too hurtful', Kevin said their teen sons found Britney's naked Instagram photos "tough".
"I try to explain to them, 'Look, maybe that's just another way she tries to express herself', he said of her naked antics. "But that doesn't take away from the fact of what it does to them. It's tough. I can't imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school."
Later, Britney shared a lengthy statement in response after she and husband Sam Asghari slammed Kevin.
In the post, Britney claimed the teens acted "hateful" towards her in a number of visits and chose to lock themselves in their room instead of spend time as a family.
Later, Kevin shared videos of the singer arguing with her sons and wrote in the caption: "I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through.
"As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12.
"This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this. #NeverFearTruth".
Britney has since deleted her Instagram account but has been posting on Twitter.
