The body of British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch has been recovered from the sunken Bayesian superyacht, according to Italian interior ministry official Massimo Mariani. The tragic incident also involved Lynch's 18-year-old daughter, Hannah, who is still missing as divers continue their search in the area where the vessel sank.
Earlier, a fifth body was retrieved from the wreck of the boat, which sank after its mast broke in half during a violent storm. The British-flagged vessel, carrying 22 passengers and crew members, quickly went down, leading to a rescue operation that saved 15 individuals. One body, believed to be that of the onboard chef Recaldo Thomas, was recovered earlier, while six others were reported missing.
