British climber falls 13,600ft to her death as she attempts to scale mountain peak 'without guide'

A woman has died after falling 13,600ft as she climbed a Moroccan mountain. The unnamed British woman is reported to have fallen into a deep pit named Aslghi on Mount Toubkal.

Reports from the area say the tragedy happened last Tuesday. It is claimed that she took the climb without using help from a tour guide.

Local news site Akhbarona said the woman who died was on an expedition to the region. She was with another British friend before she fell into a hole near the peak of Toubkal.
