British band Squeeze cancel concert after tour bus fatally crushes venue worker

  • British rock group Squeeze were forced to cancel their concert at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia on Thursday following the tragic death of a venue worker.
  • The unidentified individual was working underneath the band's tour bus in the venue parking lot when a supporting apparatus failed, causing the vehicle to collapse on top of them.
  • Squeeze released a statement expressing that they were deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of life, confirming the cancellation after discussions with venue officials and local authorities.
  • Wolf Trap National Park also issued a statement confirming the cancellation of the Thursday evening show out of respect for the victim.
  • The band, famous for UK hits such as “Cool For Cats” and “Up The Junction”, are scheduled to continue their United States tour with a performance in Huber Heights, Ohio, on Friday.
